Training
Toward sailing Club is affiliated to the RYA and is an RYA Recognized Training Center. The club provides a wide range of training courses in dinghies, keelboats and powerboats. Training, which takes place twice a week, focuses mainly on the junior members who follow the RYA Dinghy courses. However, adults are always welcome with courses being tailor made to fit their needs.
Members
are encouraged to develop their skills in both sailing and powerboating
to such an extent that they can then assist in the training of others
and the general running of the club. This approach contributes significantly
to the positive ethos for which the club is so well known in the area.
